Kristin J. Robbins is the Executive Director of the Minnesota Economic Club. She has an extensive background in economics and public policy at the state and federal levels.
In Washington, D.C., she worked as the Legislative Director for Congressman Harris W. Fawell (R-IL), where she focused on trade, education and labor issues. She also worked in the Business and Ecomomics Division of the Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS).
Ms. Robbins served as the Executive Director of Minnesotans for School Choice and the Partnership for Choice in Education, leading the coalition working for education tax credits during Gov. Carlson’s administration. She has also served on the State Commission to End Chronic Homelessness and on the Dept. of Education’s committee to revise state math standards. Ms. Robbins served as a Director of the Banyan Community, a community development organization in the East Phillips Neighborhood for 10 years.
She holds a Masters in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis and and a B.A. in Economics/Political Science from Bethel University.
Ms. Robbins lives with her husband, Brent, and their three daughters in Plymouth, MN.
